Visit Somerset are delighted to announce the appointment of a new board director the Somerset Tourism Association board.
Jenna will take charge of all Visit Somerset’s social media developments and is well versed to do so. Jenna is the Founder of Gumption Agency, a social media agency based in Frome.
Before founding Gumption in 2012, Jenna was part of the social media team at one of London’s top integrated agency’s, working with brands such as The National Lottery.
In 2015 she was shortlisted for The Drum’s Woman of the Year award, one of the proudest moments of her career. Her client list has included Kilver Court Designer Village, Bluebird Care, Charity Fashion Live, London’s top BBQ restaurant group Bodean’s, Longleat Safari & Adventure Park, BOING Jewellery, OpenStoryTellers, The Grand Pier, Cheddar Gorge, Kings Mall and Wild Beer.
Jenna has said; ‘I am absolutely thrilled to become the newest Director at Visit Somerset. It’s a privilege and is truly an opportunity I look forward to grabbing with both hands to make an impact in this county I am proud to call home. I’ll be working in the coming months to help drive Visit Somerset further in to the digital age, we’ve got many projects planned already and I can’t wait to dive in!’

It is the DMO’s aspiration that we further invest in growing the immediate teams digital planning and connected workings, ensuring that we are equipped to deal with the growing demand of our members needs. Jenna is to become our official digital director and will oversee the change management of these aims”.
